Texas Fire Crackers

Imagine "hot" and "savory" and "delicious" on a saltine. My mom acquired this simple recipe on a trip to Texas a few years ago. She picked it up from some country relative or another. Since then, she has made a new batch every week to keep in the pantry, and they go fast. Kids inhale them, so they only take a "mild" rating in the spicy category. But if you don't like at least a bit of heat, then this post is not for you. There's actually no real cooking involved. Make these crackers as an appetizer, eat them with soup, or take a batch to your next fete. Please enjoy!

What you will need:
1- 36 oz. box of saltine or similar grocery brand crackers, 1 1/2 c. Canola Oil, a 2 oz. packet of Ranch dressing seasoning, 3-5 tbs. red pepper flakes (depending on how much heat you prefer), and a clean Tupperware container with lid big enough to fit everything.

What you will need to do: Open the entire package of crackers and put them in the Tupperware, add the rest of the ingredients as listed, put the lid on the container, shake the container lightly for 1 minute to combine things, let it sit for a good 2 hours before eating.

Rocket science, I know. I hope these lovely crackers make your man smooch you and your friends cheer!
